How working together actually works

The work is an ongoing planning relationship, not a one-time transaction or a stock pick.

What planning connects

One picture instead of separate answers

Most financial decisions get made one at a time: a question about saving here, a question about a job offer there, a business decision on its own schedule. Each answer can be reasonable and the whole can still not fit together.

Planning starts from the whole. What you earn and what you spend, what you own and what you owe, the business and the household, this year and the decades after it. When something changes, we look at what else it moves before deciding.

The first conversation

It starts with your situation, not a product

You book a time and answer a few short questions as part of scheduling. That gives me some context, so the meeting does not begin from a blank page.

The conversation itself is about you: what is changing, what is on your mind, and what you would want planning to help with. It is also a chance for you to decide whether this is the kind of relationship you want.

Fit

Who this is a fit for

I plan for business owners and forfamilies going through a major financial transition. It is a fit if you want a planner to stay with you as things change, and if you want to understand the plan rather than simply be handed one.

Clients should understand what is being done and why, rather than feeling their finances sit inside a black box.

If you are after a single recommendation or a quick answer to one question, this is probably not the right arrangement, and it is better to know that at the start.

If this sounds like what you are looking for

The next step is a first conversation, booked on the scheduling page.
